Privacy Policy

AeroCabin (aerocabin.app) is a browser-based relaxation app. We do not operate user accounts or a backend database for this app. Most settings stay on your device.

What we do not collect

• We do not run advertising trackers or sell your data.
• We do not ask for your name, email, or password to use the free features.
• We do not receive your browsing history from this app.

Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service hosted at cloud.umami.is, to understand how the app is used (for example page views and button interactions such as opening Pro or entering a scene).

• Umami does not use cookies for tracking.
• We do not use Umami for advertising or cross-site profiling.
• Data is aggregated usage information, not tied to a named account on our side.

Umami’s privacy policy applies to how that service processes requests: umami.is/privacy.

Pro Early Access email (optional)

If you choose to join the Pro waitlist, you may submit your email address through a form powered by Kit (app.kit.com). That email is sent to Kit so we can notify you about Pro. We also store a local flag in your browser (aerocabin_waitlist_joined) so the app remembers that you signed up. Kit’s privacy policy applies to that submission.

Data stored in your browser

The app may save preferences locally using localStorage and sessionStorage, for example:

• Language choice
• Volume, theme, and background selections
• Timer and scene preferences
• Pro unlock status and license key (only if you choose to activate Pro)
• A random device identifier used when validating a Pro license
• Flags such as “bookmark hint dismissed” or location permission denied

This data stays on your device unless you clear site data or use a different browser. We cannot access it remotely.

Pro purchases and license activation

If you buy AeroCabin Pro, checkout and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy. When you enter a license key, the app sends that key and a device identifier to Lemon Squeezy’s API to verify activation. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy applies to that process.

Location (optional)

Outdoor Camp mode may ask for your device location if you allow it. Location is used in the browser to show altitude and related features. A short-lived copy may be kept in sessionStorage. If elevation is shown, coordinates may be sent to the Open-Elevation public API (api.open-elevation.com) to look up altitude. You can deny location access; the rest of the app still works.

Third-party services loaded by the app

• Umami — privacy-focused analytics (cloud.umami.is); see Analytics above.
• Kit — optional Pro waitlist email signup (app.kit.com); see Pro Early Access above.
• Audio files — loaded from our hosting (same site).
• Google Fonts — Orbitron font may be requested from Google when the app loads.
• cdnjs — SunCalc library for sky calculations in Camp mode.
• Fullscreen flow (China) — if used, your browser may briefly visit third-party pages (e.g. video platforms) before returning; those sites have their own policies.
